| | ,

A research carried out by Revolution Aero about Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) vehicles found that 56% of eVTOL professionals expect that the first commercial urban air mobility passenger routes will be operational by 2025. A further 15% envisioned that this will happen between 2026 and 2029, and only 25% think it will happen after 2030.

In the research 93 eVTOL professionals were interviewed around the world.

The Aerospace Industries Association estimates that the US mobility market will create 280,000 jobs by 2035. Globally, 48% of eVTOL professionals interviewed as part of Horizon Aircraft’s research believe the sector will create between 350,000 and 500,000 jobs by then, 12.5% believe the figure will be between 500,000 and 600,000 and 28% think it will be higher than this.
