The two meteorological companies will collaborate to support NASA’s ‘Urban Weather Sensing Infrastructure’ programme.
MetroWeather and TruWeather will build an urban weather observation infrastructure that could be used for a wide-scale deployment of commercial Urban Air Mobility.
According to the companies, the developed wind simulation system will help accelerate the development of next-generation weather services that are essential for safe urban air mobility (UAM) services.
