Nixie water sampling system can help utilities to save millions

| |

New York City spends over $1.4 million every year to collect water quality samples. The new drone-based water sampling and data collection system of Nixie helps utilities to reduce the cost and make water sampling safer and more efficient.

Drone operators insert a water bottle in the special drone attachment which dips the bottle in the water. With the help of drones, technicians can collect and analyse water samples faster as the operation is only three minutes long.

Besides, while with traditional water sampling each sample costs over $100, with Nixie’s solution the price of a water sample can be reduced to $10.
