Cursir LLC has completed final tests and summarised the results of R&D on the project “Unmanned aircraft systems system for performing flight checks of ground-based radio technical support and lighting equipment” (NAVAID Calibration Drone).

The company carried out tests in partnership with Aerokonotrol at Zhukovsky Airport; calibration in the lab and climatic tests; EMC study and antenna calibration in an RF anechoic chamber; field tests.

These were the first tests of drones for testing radio navigation in Russia. The successful tests can support the wider implementation of drones in Russia.
