Clean Up Britain uses drones for its anti-cigarette campaign in Bristol

| |

Clean Up Britain is an organisation that aims to solve the problem of littering in the UK. On the 21st of January, 2022 the organisation launched its anti-cigarette campaign in Bristol.

Cigarette butts greatly contribute to environmental pollution as they take almost 15 years to decompose and contain numerous toxins. Hence, the organisation launched its awareness-raising campaign to reduce the number of smokers and litterers.

To monitor its successes, Clean Up Britain will deploy drones to examine the streets of Bristol before and after the campaign. The drones can make it easier and faster to monitor and evaluate the project’s success.
