| |

According to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Volocopter has received the first issued certificate for using its VC200-2 aircraft for a particular purpose.

The company has applied for the special certificate end of May to enhance the functions and the development of its aircraft. With the certificate, the drone can now be operated in a clearly delimited low-risk area, even if this zone is located close to an area where drone operations are at higher risk, such as a city.
