Scottish rescue groups are turning to drones for help

Scottland’s mountain rescue teams started to use lightweight drones to respond quickly to emergency situations.

Scottland attracts many tourists with its spectacular landscapes. However, inexperienced hikers can easily be trapped in mountainous areas. Hence, the volunteers of the Scottish mountain rescue group started to use drones to respond effectively to emergency situations. The lightweight drones are used for finding missing hikers at the Ben Nevis mountain.

Drones help the rescue team to find missing people quicker and to save more lives.
