Near Earth and L3Harris deliver critical medical supplies by drone

| |

The two companies successfully simulated the drone delivery of critical medical supplies, including blood, to soldiers.

The test flight, which was conducted under a US Army program, showcased the viability of UAVs for long-distance medical delivery. The test flights were carried out with the L3Harris FVR-90 Airframe’s hybrid VTOL.

The companies and the US Army aim to deploy the drone for more medical deliveries in the future as it is more efficient and cost-effective than other delivery solutions.
