Introducing Kite: Swoop Aero’s next-generation drone for urban areas

Swoop Aero has gained a reputation flying medical supplies to remote areas in the African continent including Covid-19 tests and vaccines.

Now the company has launched its new drone, Kite, that is suitable for medical deliveries, disaster response and rescue missions in urban areas. The aircraft can transport 3kg of supplies to 175km, or 5kgs to 130km at up to 200kmh.

The company has sought FAA approval for its new drone and aims to provide services to 100 million people by 2025.
