Drones will be used to disinfect public venues in the US

| | ,

A Pittsburgh-based drone company, AERAS Drone Disinfectant Solutions received a federal agency certification to sanitise sports and entertainment venues.

The special certification is usually reserved for spraying pesticides on crops. Company officials say this is the first such certification for COVID-related disinfection. AERAS will use patented electrostatic technology to disperse EPA-approved approved disinfectants.

These drone operations will help to hinder the spread of Covid-19.
