Walmart invests in drone delivery service, DroneUp

| |

Walmart announced its investment to the drone delivery company DroneUp. The two companies have collaborated since last year to deliver essential items during the pandemic.

Walmart has 4700 stores stocked with more than 100,000 of the most-purchased items, located within 10 miles of 90% of the U.S. population. This unique positioning helps in the execution of drone deliveries.

This investment and the active collaboration of the two companies can boost the development of last-mile drone delivery solutions.
