Marco Polo Marine develops the first delivery drones for offshore wind farms

Two drone companies, Marco Polo Marine and F-drones, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the first large-scale, electric, delivery drone for offshore wind farms.

The developed cargo drones will be used to deliver supplies and critical items to help the installation of offshore wind farms.

The deployment of cargo drones can reduce transportation costs by 90%. Moreover, drone delivery is four times faster than traditional delivery methods which can increase the efficiency of deliveries and installation work.
