DHL discontinues its Parcelcopter drone delivery project

| |

The drone delivery market is steadily growing and companies now deliver medical equipment, mail and groceries via drone. However, some drone delivery projects are not so successful.

DHL has announced that it will no longer continue its Parcelcopter drone delivery project. The company has worked on delivery drones since 2013 and the last prototype that the company developed for consumer drone deliveries was in 2018.

After discontinuing its consumer drone delivery project, DHL aims to focus on medium-range deliveries.
