Amazon aims to use drones and trucks together for deliveries

| |

Amazon Prime Air currently holds an FAA Part 135 certificate, which means that it can conduct drone deliveries.

Amazon launched a new patent that aims to deploy drones and trucks together. The drones would be launched and controlled from trucks with locational sensors and would execute last-mile deliveries.

Although Amazon launched its new patent for drone deliveries, it is uncertain when the company will launch its drone delivery service.
