First 5G enabled drone launched by T-Mobile and The Drone Racing League

As part of a long-term partnership, T-Mobile and The Drone Racing Team (DRL) have launched the first 5G enabled racing drone.

An introduction of the drone:

The embedded 5G module is capable of live streaming video that aims to make sports more interesting. The drone has a dual FPV and HD streaming camera system, a 5s lipo battery setup for extended flight time and over 2,400 g of thrust. This enables the drone to film incredible content through mile-long courses while flying over 97 km/h.

The drone will be used for streaming sports, making its debut with a baseball game today.
