The First Battalion, First Marine Division has successfully integrated the Skydio X2D drone into their Realistic Urban Training (RUT) exercise. This was the first time when the US marines have used Skydio’s drone in their training.
The event included realistic training scenarios in urban and mountainous terrain. Integrating the Skydio X2D drone helped to improve the marine’s real-time situational awareness that can be critical for battlefield success.
