XAG spray drones help the protection of sunflower crops in Ukraine

| |

To protect sunflowers from crop diseases and ensure their growth, Ukrainian farmers use XAG spray drones.

Ukraine is currently one of the largest grain exporters in the world and the country has a significant income from sunflower oil. However, this year’s heavy raining could lead to an outbreak of infectious crop diseases caused by fungi, bacteria, and viruses.

According to World Data Center Ukraine, farm managers estimate that 10 to 20 percent of the standing crops are typically lost due to outdated, inefficient machinery. Traditional ground machinery, such as tractors, cannot enter the wetlands. Hence, Ukrainian farmers now use XAG spray drones to protect sunflower crops.

Using drones for crop protection is faster, more cost-effective and more eco-friendly than traditional crop protection methods.
